About the Photographer

Jonas Otsuji started his career in after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography at Brigham Young University. He has been photographing weddings, portraiture, commercial as well as fine art photography for the past 15 years.

He started his career as a photojournalist working as a freelance photojournalist for many of the major local news papers in Utah. "It was a very natural progression into weddings because my goal was the same-to tell the story in an interesting light. Just like the news papers you only have one chance to tell the full story."

Jonas has done work all over the world and has photographed weddings as well a commercial work Japan, Hawaii, San Francisco, San Diego, Minnesota, Las Vegas, Florida, Seattle, Oregon, Texas... just to name a few. He has received awards from two highly respected names in the wedding industry including WPJA wedding photojournalist association and PDN Photo District News.

On his own approach to wedding photography Jonas say, "Instead of making people do a lot of unnatural cheesy poses, I prefer to let people enjoy there wedding day. People photograph the best when their just being themselves."

Jonas currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada but travels all over the world to photograph weddings and other events.
